Biography

Gali Katz (American, b.1979) is a Connecticut based artist working across mediums of drawing, printmaking and collage.  Her work weaves together personal memory and contemporary domestic life as a way to both reconcile conflict and reveal joy in the roles she plays as mother, child, stay at home parent and modern day human.  Primary themes include nostalgia, childhood invention, conceptual heirlooms and simple pleasures.
